Wash basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot with a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of oil

When the water starts boiling, add rice and boil until it is 70% cooked. Then drain the rice and set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and bay leaves.

Add Tomatoes and Spices– Add chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they turn white. Then add yogurt, chopped green chilies, fresh mint leaves, and fresh coriander leaves. Mix everything well. Cover the pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
